In a move to improve police accountability and judicial transparency, the Sharjah Executive Council, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, has announced the formation of a new Police Judicial Council.
The council will be led by Brigadier General Omar Ahmed Sultan Boualzoud and includes 8 senior police officers.
It will work to enhance internal oversight, ensure fair law enforcement, and uphold justice within Sharjah's police system.
Also approved: a revamped organizational structure for the Sharjah Archives Department, and key governance milestones from 2024.
