Gaurav Khanna Clinches Victory in Bigg Boss 19, Outlines His Tactics

Gaurav Khanna Clinches Victory in Bigg Boss 19, Outlines His Tactics

Post by : Meena Ariff

Gaurav Khanna has taken the crown as the winner of Bigg Boss 19, securing the prized trophy and a cash reward of ₹50 lakh. This triumph adds to his impressive reality TV journey, marking a significant milestone after his previous win on Celebrity MasterChef India.

Throughout the season, Gaurav faced backlash for his so-called “safe” strategy, with critiques claiming he stayed in the background and merely watched the game unfold. Some even suggested that his popularity from television made him a “fixed” winner.

In response to these criticisms, Gaurav remarked, “These are merely opinions. We mustn't let them dictate our actions. Not everyone has to appreciate me, and I accept that. I’m grateful that many do.”

Rejecting any notions of insincerity, he elaborated on his genuine approach: “If I were putting on a facade, I would have donned designer clothes, applied makeup, and stirred controversies. Instead, I simply lived my life, worked out in slippers, and ate rice with my hands.”

He also emphasized that he refrained from spending money to garner votes. “True connections with people resonate. If I’ve garnered the affection of even one mother, brother, child, or elder, that means the world to me,” he added.

While other contestants, such as Tanya Mittal and Amaal Mallik, have been in the spotlight, Gaurav’s uncontroversial image won the trust of the audience.

Farrhana Bhatt and Pranit More earned the titles of first and second runners-up, respectively, wrapping up a season rich with excitement, strategy, and audience involvement.
