Renowned South Korean actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a have taken the big step of marriage, celebrating their decade-long romance in a private ceremony. The wedding, held on Saturday at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, was a quaint affair attended exclusively by family, relatives, and close friends. Notably, actor Lee Kwang-soo, a dear friend of Kim Woo-bin, officiated the ceremony.
AM Entertainment, their agency, previously shared the news of their union, highlighting the couple's decision to build a life together founded on years of deep trust. They also encouraged fans to send love and warm wishes as the couple embarks on their new journey together.
On the same day, Kim Woo-bin expressed his emotions to fans via handwritten letters shared through his fan café, revealing his excitement about starting a family with someone who has been his pillar of support, and requesting their continued encouragement and support on this new journey.
The couple first met in 2015 while modeling for a clothing brand, and confirmed their romantic relationship publicly in July of the same year. Their relationship has stood the test of time, with Shin Min-a being a source of strong support for Kim Woo-bin during his battle with nasopharyngeal cancer.
Kim Woo-bin began his modeling career in 2008 and transitioned into acting, with notable roles in dramas and films such as “The Heirs,” “Uncontrollably Fond,” “Our Blues,” and “Alienoid.” Shin Min-a, who debuted in 1998, has garnered much acclaim for her performances in popular dramas including “My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,” “Oh My Venus,” “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” and “Our Blues.”
