Esteemed travel influencer Mariellen Ward has unveiled her journey from a casual blogger to the founder of a comprehensive travel platform and tour enterprise, designed to assist first-time explorers in navigating India with ease and delight.
Beginning her travel blogging journey in 2005, Mariellen ventured into a realm where travel blogs were sparse and social media was merely emerging. Her initial platform was modest, yet it served as a launchpad for her enduring zeal for exploration and storytelling. In 2009, she established Breathedreamgo, her professional travel blog, with a particular focus on India.
Through her extensive travels across myriad Indian regions—cities, villages, historical landmarks, and natural wonders—Mariellen gathered valuable insights regarding ideal accommodations, local delicacies, scenic itineraries, and practical travel advice to enhance visitors' experiences.
In September 2018, driven by her commitment to Indian travel, Mariellen made a significant leap, relocating to India permanently. Shortly thereafter, in October 2019, she co-founded 'India for Beginners' with local expert Anjani Nandan and operations strategist Ujjwal Mukherjee.
The company's mission is to simplify the complexities of traveling in India, a nation that often overwhelms newcomers with its vastness and diversity. By offering customized tours, clear travel pathways, and key insider tips, 'India for Beginners' aims to save travelers time, prevent common travel issues, and ensure a hassle-free experience.
Although faced with challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mariellen and her team diligently worked to expand the company as international travel resumed. Their unwavering commitment is to make each trip safe, delightful, and full of memorable moments, whether it be visiting the Taj Mahal, traversing the deserts of Rajasthan, or relaxing on the shores of Goa.
Mariellen emphasizes that their core motivation lies in providing unforgettable travel experiences. "Seeing travelers relish their time in India without the hurdles they might encounter is our greatest reward," she shares.
Through 'India for Beginners,' Mariellen combines her vast travel expertise, profound understanding of India, and storytelling ability to create a reliable resource for visitors. The tours offered also shine a spotlight on hidden treasures, local culture, and authentic flavors.
With a rising interest among global travelers for genuine and secure travel experiences, Mariellen Ward's 'India for Beginners' emerges as an essential guide for those planning to explore India.
