In light of a tragic suicide bombing in Islamabad, Pakistan has mobilized army and paramilitary forces to ensure the safety of Sri Lanka’s cricket team, as announced by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday. During a live televised parliamentary session, Minister Naqvi conveyed that Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir personally reassured Sri Lankan Defence Minister Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon about the team’s security.
