World Championship-winning para archer Sheetal Devi is rewriting history in Indian sports. She has been chosen for India’s able-bodied junior team for the Asia Cup Stage 3 in Jeddah, marking a first for para athletes competing in able-bodied international events.

A Dream Achieved

Taking to social media, Sheetal shared her excitement:

"When I began my journey, I harbored a small dream – to compete alongside able-bodied athletes and clinch medals. Though I faced hurdles, I persevered, learning from every challenge. Now, I'm closer to that dream than ever."

In her message to others, she encouraged:

"Dreams require time, effort, and faith. Keep striving."

Anand Mahindra Celebrates Her Spirit

Business leader Anand Mahindra commended her grit, stating:

"Sheetal, I always believed you were ‘able-bodied.’ In fact, your abilities surpass many. Your heart is truly the strongest. You make India proud."

This year, Mahindra presented Sheetal with a brand new Mahindra Scorpio-N in recognition of her astonishing accomplishments.
