During a productive working visit to the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama.
The discussions took place alongside the Make it in the Emirates 2026 event at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The dialogue aimed at fortifying the bonds between the UAE and Ghana, exploring various sectors including trade, investment, renewable energy, technology, and innovation, especially in the realm of artificial intelligence.
Both leaders underscored their dedication to enhancing bilateral relations to foster sustainable development, economic progress, and shared prosperity.
The meeting also addressed broader regional and global issues, particularly the ongoing circumstances in the Middle East and their implications for peace and security.
President Mahama unequivocally condemned the recent Iranian strikes on civilian targets in the UAE, branding these actions as violations of sovereignty and international law, and highlighting the threats they pose to regional stability.
