Over 325 Competitors Expected at UAE Weapons Championship in Al Ain

The Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting, and Golf Club is set to host the fourth segment of the UAE Licensed Weapons Shooting Championship on November 15 and 16, featuring over 325 male and female shooters. This event signifies a significant moment in the championship calendar, promising thrilling contests across various categories.

An official statement from the organizing committee confirmed that the Al Ain stage will encompass numerous rifle shooting events, divided into men's, women's, and juniors' divisions. A crowning ceremony will take place, honoring three standout champions with gold medals in their respective categories.

The breakdown of participants includes 229 in the men's air rifle category, 47 in the women's air rifle section, and 49 junior shooters. The impressive turnout underscores the increasing appeal of shooting sports in the UAE and the championship's success in attracting skilled individuals nationwide.

The committee expressed pride in the high participation rates achieved in prior rounds, which took place in Al Dhafra, Ajman, and Masfout. Previous competitions showcased remarkable skill and passionate performances, fueling anticipation for the upcoming Al Ain round.

Officials shared that the accomplishments of earlier rounds have created substantial excitement for this event, as athletes are eager to demonstrate their abilities under the pressures of competition.
