The spotlight at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards was undeniably on Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican icon took home the prestigious Album of the Year for his acclaimed work Debí Tirar Más Fotos, dedicating the honor to his family, collaborators, and his homeland: “Puerto Rico, I love you, thank you.”
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, kicked off the evening by winning the Música Urbana Album award, setting the tone for the celebration. He later returned to the stage to receive the Música Urbana Song award for his hit “DTmF,” and performed again alongside Chuwi for “Weltita.” True to his authenticity, he noted, “I never practice my speeches.”
While Bad Bunny dazzled as the main star, the event honored several other talented artists. The Song of the Year accolade was awarded to Karol G, Andrés Jael Correa Ríos, and Édgar Barrera for their collaboration Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido, while Alejandro Sanz won Record of the Year for ¿Y Ahora Qué?. Paloma Morphy was named Best New Artist, Gloria Estefan received the Traditional Tropical Album award for Raíces, and Christian Nodal took home the Ranchero/Mariachi Album prize for ¿Quién + Como Yo?.
Broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the 26th annual Latin Grammys showcased exhilarating performances. The evening began with a lively rendition of Oye Como Va by Santana and Maluma. Raphael delivered a heartfelt performance of Qué Sabe Nadie, while Karol G and Marco Antonio Solís captivated the audience with their duet, Coleccionando Heridas. Grupo Frontera and Fuerza Regida revved up the energy with Me Jalo and Marlboro Rojo, as Rauw Alejandro, Elena Rose, Danny Lux, Kakalo, and Ivan Cornejo introduced fresh Latin beats. Carín León and Kacey Musgraves enchanted the audience with Ahí Estabas Tú and Lost in Translation.
The pre-show Premiere Ceremony saw a host of awards distributed, with Bad Bunny's Voy A Llevarte Pa Pr winning for Reggaeton Performance. Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso stood out with five awards, including Best Alternative Music Album and Best Pop Song.
Hosted by Maluma and Roselyn Sánchez, the dynamic three-hour broadcast entertained fans with a rich mix of legendary icons and emerging talents, highlighting the vibrancy and diversity of today’s Latin music landscape. The 2026 Latin Grammys were a testament to Bad Bunny's unmatched talent and the spectrum of artistry within Latin music.
