In a recent meeting, Dubai Chambers engaged with Li Xiangying, Chair of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing), aimed at boosting trade and investment channels between Dubai and China.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, the President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, led discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the business sectors of both regions. Among the priorities discussed were the digital economy, healthcare, science, and manufacturing.
Lootah highlighted China’s significant role as a primary trading partner for Dubai, stating, “We are dedicated to reinforcing our ties with CCPIT Beijing, aiming to enhance bilateral relations and generate new opportunities, especially within the realms of digital economy and high-end manufacturing.”
This initiative continues the momentum from the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Dubai Chambers and CCPIT Beijing at the Dubai Business Forum – China in August 2024, which is designed to boost trade, create investment opportunities, and assist CCPIT Beijing members in establishing a base in Dubai.
Such initiatives are a testament to Dubai's ongoing dedication to enhancing global business relationships, establishing the emirate as a prime location for innovation, trade, and investment.
