Dubai Chambers and Jiangsu Strengthen Trade Relations

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Recently, Dubai Chambers engaged in a significant dialogue with the Jiangsu Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Jiangsu) to enhance trade and investment synergies between Dubai and China.

The meeting featured key representatives, including Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah and Wang Shanhua.

During their conversations, the participants identified avenues to boost economic collaboration and establish stronger business ties between Dubai and Jiangsu province. The discussions were centered on strategic sectors ripe for growth in trade and investment.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah emphasized the importance of fortifying economic connections with various Chinese cities and provinces, including Jiangsu, in a manner that aligns with the interests of both business communities.

He pointed out that enhanced cooperation between the private sectors in Dubai and China, along with increased investments and substantial partnerships, can lead to new avenues for trade and elevate the competitiveness of businesses in both regions.

This meeting was part of an extensive series of initiatives by Dubai Chambers aimed at enhancing trade and investment ties between Dubai and various Chinese entities.

Jiangsu is recognized as one of China’s prominent economic zones, standing as the second-largest province by GDP, positioning it as a crucial ally in Dubai’s expanding international trade landscape.
