Jeddah, Saudi Arabia:
In a significant development, Saudi Arabia’s budget airline, flyadeal, has revealed the commencement of regular flights linking Jeddah and Dubai. The airline will also resume its Riyadh-Dubai operations starting April 15, 2026.
This expansion plays a crucial role in bolstering air travel between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, catering effectively to both leisure and business travelers.
The new Jeddah-Dubai service will initially operate three flights weekly. The Riyadh-Dubai route, now back in service, will kick off with daily flights, aiming for an increase to four flights daily in the near future.
Dubai continues to be a top destination for travelers from Saudi Arabia. By establishing Jeddah as a direct access point to Dubai International Airport, flyadeal seeks to provide enhanced convenience and flexibility.
Jeddah, renowned as a key commercial hub and the second-largest city in Saudi Arabia, also serves as an important transit point for religious tourism, with millions of pilgrims visiting Makkah and Madinah each year, making this new route strategically essential.
Lloyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at flyadeal, emphasized the significance of this expansion, asserting that it reflects the airline's dedication to improving travel choices and enhancing regional connectivity. He reiterated that the new Jeddah-Dubai route fits well within flyadeal’s overall strategy for international growth.
Tickets for the newly launched and reinstated routes are available for purchase via flyadeal’s official website, mobile application, and approved travel agents.
