flydubai to Introduce Daily Flights from Dubai to Bangkok DMK Starting July 2026

Post by : Badri Ariffin

flydubai has revealed plans to commence daily flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok, starting from 1 July 2026. These flights will be operated from Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport (DXB).

This new route marks Bangkok as the second destination in Thailand for flydubai, following the introduction of services to Krabi. It is expected to enhance travel choices between Dubai and Thailand, catering to an increasing demand for travel during the summer months.

The service will be provided as a codeshare in partnership with Emirates, facilitating smoother connections through Dubai to various global destinations. This collaboration is set to enhance overall connectivity within flydubai's expanding network.

According to flydubai, this expansion will also strengthen its footprint in Southeast Asia, alongside existing routes to Malaysia's Langkawi and Penang.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, emphasized that the new Bangkok service exemplifies their dedication to widening their network and increasing travel options. He noted that growing tourism and travel demand necessitate greater capacity and improved links between the UAE and significant markets.

Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president of commercial operations, mentioned that Bangkok is a favored destination for both leisure and business travelers. The introduction of daily flights is set to provide enhanced flexibility, particularly during the peak summer travel season, with expectations for increased demand and potential additional flights in the future.

The new routing is aimed at facilitating seamless travel between Dubai and Bangkok while bolstering connectivity across flydubai’s expanding international network.
