flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, is set to introduce a second daily flight to Bangkok from 18 July, in response to the increasing passenger demand for this newly established route.
This new service follows the airline's launch of daily flights to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) on 1 July, giving travelers additional options and better access to Thailand's vibrant capital during the busy summer travel months.
With this new service, flydubai will provide up to 21 weekly flights to Thailand, further enhancing its presence in the market and allowing passengers more flexibility in planning their trips.
This increase in frequency underscores the airline's commitment to fortifying its international route options while catering to the growing travel interest.
Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior VP of Commercial Operations at flydubai, commented, "This new service not only enhances travel flexibility and options but also reinforces our dedication to bolstering connectivity and supporting Dubai’s role as a key global aviation hub."
In addition to the increased Bangkok schedule, flydubai recently commenced flights to Benghazi, Libya, and is preparing to launch services to Aleppo, Syria, starting 20 July, followed by Pokhara, Nepal, from 23 September.
These offerings are part of the airline’s ongoing strategy to broaden its network of destinations.
The new Bangkok flights are part of the flydubai and Emirates codeshare collaboration, allowing passengers to book on a single ticket with easy baggage check-in and seamless connections.
Travelers will also benefit from access to a combined network of over 240 destinations globally, enhancing convenience for their international travels.
The twice-daily flights to Bangkok will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).
