South Korean MMA fighter Ham Seo-hee says she wants to fight Denice Zamboanga to prove who the real champion is. Ham hasn’t fought since losing to Stamp Fairtex in 2022. But now that Stamp had given up the title because of injury, Denice was named the full champion—even though Ham had beaten her twice before.
Ham says Denice should have fought someone else for the real title instead of just being given it. She thinks this way of becoming a champion isn’t right.
Ham, who has fought in big promotions and has been a champion in Japan and Korea, says she still wants to fight. She feels left out while others keep getting into fights. She wonders if people think she’s too old to fight, but she believes she still has what it takes.
Stamp Fairtex, the former champion, said that a match between Ham and Denice would be exciting for fans. Ham agrees and says it would be a great way to find out who truly deserves the belt.
Ham also said she’s proud of herself for never giving up in her 20-year career. Now, her only goal is simple: to become a champion again.
Fans hope to see Ham return at the upcoming event in Tokyo and finally settle things with Denice in the cage.
