Hatta Festival 2025 Showcases Dubai's Local Business Talent

Hatta Festival 2025 Showcases Dubai's Local Business Talent

Post by : Badri Ariffin

Brand Dubai, an initiative of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has revealed significant involvement from local entrepreneurs at the Hatta Festival 2025, where over 30 businesses from the ‘Proudly from Dubai’ network will present their unique offerings.

Taking place from 5 December 2025 to 20 January 2026, the festival is part of the broader #HattaWinter initiative and the Dubai Destinations campaign. It celebrates local craftsmanship, creative experiences, and innovative ideas that represent the authentic Emirati culture while providing visitors with an enriching cultural experience.

This year's increased participation builds on past successes and reflects Brand Dubai’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and empowering small and medium businesses. By offering high-visibility opportunities at key seasonal events, Brand Dubai aims to elevate local brands’ market presence.

Amina Taher, a member of the #HattaWinter Initiative Organising Committee, emphasized that the festival not only promotes Hatta as a winter tourist attraction but also focuses on creating economic value by allowing local businesses to showcase their quality products to a diverse audience. This strategy aligns with Dubai’s vision of nurturing new ventures and expanding opportunities for growth.

Taher further pointed out that Dubai provides a supportive environment for innovative ideas, allowing many local projects to flourish into globally recognized brands. She noted that strong visitor turnout since the festival's inception on 5 December reflects the growing consumer confidence and demand for domestically produced goods.

Khawla Al Hashmi, another member of the committee, noted that Hatta Festival is a vital platform for emerging entrepreneurs to demonstrate their creativity to thousands visiting from both the UAE and abroad. She highlighted its direct contribution to bolstering the local economy in Hatta, now regarded as an attractive tourist destination.

Al Hashmi added that the festival allows members of the ‘Proudly from Dubai’ network to unveil innovative products to a wide audience, promoting entrepreneurship in Dubai and the Hatta area while enhancing local creative initiatives in one of the UAE’s premier winter venues. She stated that Brand Dubai is keen on attracting fresh projects each year while fostering an environment conducive to sustainable growth.

Highlighting youth participation, Hatta Festival 2025 will also feature the ‘Hatta Little Trader’ initiative, giving children a platform to showcase their entrepreneurial flair alongside local creative talents. This edition will spotlight projects from Latifa Salem Al Bedwawi, Reem Wajood Al Dahmani, and Khalifa Nasser Al Kaabi, as well as artwork contributions from Hamid Al Bloushi.

To enhance the visitor experience, mobile food trucks at Leem Lake will offer an array of unique snacks and beverages. Over the years, the Hatta Festival has evolved into a significant seasonal attraction, drawing crowds eager to partake in winter activities and explore products from the ‘Proudly from Dubai’ initiative.

The #HattaWinter initiative is executed by Brand Dubai in partnership with various governmental bodies, including the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the Community Development Authority, the Dubai Sports Council, and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

These collaborative efforts reaffirm Dubai's commitment to fostering a creative economy while establishing Hatta as a family-friendly destination that blends nature, adventure, and local culture.
