Zayed National Museum Reveals April Educational Activities

Post by : Badri Ariffin

The Zayed National Museum has unveiled its April Learning and Public Engagement programme, designed to immerse visitors in the UAE's rich cultural heritage through interactive tours, workshops, and educational events.

This month's offerings feature new initiatives alongside improved versions of existing activities. A standout event is the return of Al Dhuha Hour on April 13, having gained popularity since its debut in December 2025. Targeted towards senior citizens, including those with dementia and their caregivers, the event will kick off with a unique botanical eco-printing workshop using traditional Emirati flora, merging creativity with cultural appreciation.

In a bid to extend its influence beyond the museum's walls, the museum will launch the From Museum to Community outreach initiative as part of the Multaqa Zayed National Museum platform. Kicking off in April, this series will feature talks and discussions in cultural institutions across the UAE, promoting dialogue among community members, researchers, and heritage professionals.

The museum will also continue its popular guided tours and hands-on workshops, offering bilingual experiences like A Walk Through Our History—accessible in Emirati Sign Language—and A Walk Among Our Wings. Family-friendly activities such as Oasis Weaving, Build Your Museum, Create Your Calming Necklace, Design Your Porcelain Fruit Bowl, and Tree of Values provide creative outlets for all ages.

With such a diverse range of programmes, the April schedule exemplifies the museum’s dedication to making cultural learning accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for the broader community.
