Starting Thursday, May 14, Kenya Airways has officially reintroduced its flight operations to Dubai following a brief hiatus.
The airline announced on May 13 that it will kick off with daily flights connecting Nairobi and Dubai. There are plans for further increases in frequency based on demand and operational necessities.
Restoring the Dubai route reflects Kenya Airways' commitment to enhancing connectivity and providing dependable travel options for passengers moving between Kenya and the UAE.
With safety as a primary concern, the airline reassured travelers that passenger and crew safety is paramount as operations resume. They are collaborating closely with aviation authorities to guarantee safe and smooth flight services.
This resumption follows announcements from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority regarding the phased reopening of Qatar’s airspace for foreign airlines, as per a notice issued on April 20.
The aviation regulatory body confirmed that all flights and airport operations are adhering to internationally recognized safety standards to protect both passengers and aviation staff.
This reopening of air routes in the region is anticipated to bolster travel and business interactions across the Middle East and Africa, while also enhancing international flight connectivity.
