The Evaluation Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has hosted a strategic forum focusing on the General Secondary Education Certificate for the 2025–2026 academic year.
This forum welcomed principals, ministry representatives, exam monitors, and local press members, all aiming to bolster exam readiness, streamline communication, and foster a clear, supportive atmosphere for students nationwide.
During discussions, the Student Assessment Department outlined essential steps in preparing for the exams. Topics included organization of exam logistics, establishment of testing centers, invigilation plans, grading strategies, and verification of data.
Additionally, results from a student survey were shared, highlighting strategies to alleviate exam-related stress and the crucial support systems involving schools and parents to maintain student confidence.
Ibrahim Abdullah Al Muhannadi, Director of the Student Assessment Department, emphasized that secondary school exams are conducted under a comprehensive framework, ensuring fairness, precision, and results that accurately reflect student performance.
