Nora Fatehi has categorically refuted claims associating her with drug and rave parties reportedly linked to a detained trafficker in Mumbai. Various sources suggested that numerous Bollywood figures, along with Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew, Alishah Parkar, were involved in these events. Responding to the rumors, Nora took to Instagram Stories to share a lengthy statement, denouncing the allegations as fictitious and asserting that her name is being unjustly misrepresented.
The actress elaborated that she avoids parties, dedicating her time instead to work and travel for her professional roles. She noted that her limited downtime is typically spent resting, traveling to Dubai, or catching up with old friends. Nora urged everyone not to believe unfounded reports circulating online, recalling that similar efforts to tarnish her image have occurred previously. Although she had chosen silence in the past during attacks on her reputation, she vowed to no longer tolerate such behavior.
Furthermore, Nora issued a severe warning regarding the exploitation of her name or image in contexts in which she has no involvement. She stressed that any such misuse will lead to significant repercussions, reiterating her commitment to safeguarding her identity from being misrepresented for sensational purposes.
This uproar stems from statements made by Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a trafficker recently deported from Dubai, who is now in custody of the Anti-Narcotics Cell’s Ghatkopar unit. Shaikh has allegedly claimed to have organized rave parties that involved participants from the entertainment and fashion sectors, naming Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, and other celebrities, along with the presence of Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew at some gatherings.
Authorities have not ruled out the potential for questioning those mentioned during Shaikh’s interrogation; however, no formal summons have yet been issued. The investigation is still underway as officials continue to scrutinize the claims and investigate the purported drug-related operations.
