In mid‑2025, Poco unveiled its eagerly awaited F7 series—a bold move targeting gamers, creators, and performance enthusiasts who demand flagship power without breaking the bank. Launched in India and select global markets, the lineup includes Poco F7 (standard), F7 Pro, and F7 Ultra, each offering unique offerings and shared strengths.
At the heart of all F7 models lie Qualcomm’s top-tier chipsets. The F7 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Ultra is powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite—an estimated 45% faster CPU and 40% faster GPU over its predecessor. The base F7 uses the slightly underclocked but potent Snapdragon 8s Elite, placing it between Gen 2 and Gen 3 in performance.
Benchmark scores reflect this real-world muscle: around 1.9K single-core and 6K multi-core Geekbench figures—and AnTuTu near 1.45 million. These numbers land the F7 series squarely in flagship territory—but at a mid-range price.
All F7 variations feature a 6.67–6.83″ 2K AMOLED panel, supporting 120 Hz refresh and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness. This makes them ideal for outdoor use and smooth UI transitions.
Design-wise, Poco maintains clean lines, Gorilla Glass protection, an aluminum frame, and IP68 ratings (Ultra/Pro). The result is a durable, premium feel—without flagship-level price tags.
If battery life matters most, the base F7 boasts a massive 7,550 mAh cell, while the F7 Pro houses 6,000 mAh, and the Ultra opts for a balanced 5,300 mAh . Charging tech varies:
Base F7 & F7 Pro: 90 W wired—full charge in 35–37 minutes
F7 Ultra: 120 W wired + 50 W wireless, fully topping up in roughly 34 minutes wired or under an hour wirelessly
Real-world endurance tests show: Pro version lasts over 13.5 hours, Ultra achieves about 12.5–14 hours under mixed use.
Across the board, Poco uses a 50 MP Sony sensor (with OIS) as the main camera. The Ultra steps up with a triple-lens setup that includes a 2.5× telephoto + 32 MP ultra-wide, delivering sharp, versatile shots. Mini-cons: selfies and ultra-wide live photo quality lack the same polish.
On the software side, HyperOS 2 (Android 15) includes AI tools (Gemini, HyperAI) for camera processing, efficiencies, and performance. Hardware-level audio, stereo speakers, IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint readers round out the package.
Poco’s LiquidCool 4.0 with IceLoop, along with the Ultra’s VisionBoost D7 GPU chip, ensures stable performance under pressure. Tests show capable frame rates—like 58 FPS in Genshin Impact—and solid temperature control.
Reddit users highlight its gaming prowess: “It’s the savior for Genshin Impact under 35K”—a testament to the device’s real-world performance.
F7 Pro: ₹42,900 (~$499) for 12 GB + 256 GB
F7 Ultra: ₹55,700 (~$649) for 12/256 GB with wireless charging and more
Base F7 (India only): Expected under ₹35,000 on Flipkart, launching July 1 with launch perks
Each model counters traditional flagship pricing—offering chipset, screen, and battery chops at aggressive prices.
Go for Ultra if you want top-tier chip, wireless charging, stronger camera flexibility, and 120 W speeds.
Choose Pro for long battery life, flagship performance, but at a lower price.
Pick Base F7 if battery is your priority and you just want solid recoil-free performance well under ₹35K.
The lineup hits a rare sweet spot between premium features and affordability.
Poco’s F7 series doesn’t just offer flagship-level specs—it redefines the mid-range market in 2025. Whether you're a gamer, creator, or heavy user, there’s a model tailored to your specific needs—without overpaying. For tech enthusiasts watching for “true flagship value,” the F7 could be the breakthrough many have hoped for.
