Nik Ezanee said any threat, intimidation, harassment or attempt to prevent a public servant from performing official duties is considered a serious offence. He stressed that the agency would not compromise on matters involving the safety of its personnel.
AKPS said any individual found to have committed an offence would face strict action in accordance with existing criminal laws. The agency emphasised that attempts to interfere with law enforcement duties would be treated seriously.
The agency remains committed to protecting the safety and welfare of its officers while they carry out their responsibility to enforce the law and safeguard Malaysia's national borders.
Nik Ezanee said AKPS would provide full cooperation to police during the ongoing investigation. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the alleged threat and determine whether further action is required.
AKPS urged the public not to make unverified claims or speculate about the case, warning that such actions could interfere with the investigation. The agency reiterated that anyone found to have violated the law would face appropriate legal action.
