Rolling Stones Announce New Album Release

Rolling Stones Announce New Album Release

Post by : Shakul

The Rolling Stones have officially announced the release of their new studio album titled “Foreign Tongues,” which is scheduled to arrive on July 10. The legendary British rock band revealed the news during a promotional appearance in New York City, exciting fans around the world who continue to follow the iconic group decades after its formation.

The upcoming record will become the band’s 25th studio album and arrives less than three years after the success of “Hackney Diamonds.” That album became a major international success after topping charts in several countries and earning positive reviews from music critics. “Hackney Diamonds” had also marked the group’s first original album release in nearly 18 years, making the latest announcement another major moment for rock music fans.

During the event, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood discussed the new project and previewed several songs from the album. A video shared on social media showed the three veteran musicians working together inside a recording studio, once again proving their continued passion for music despite their age.

The album announcement was accompanied by the release of a new single titled “In The Stars.” Fans quickly reacted online after the song became available, with many praising the band’s ability to maintain its classic rock sound while still sounding fresh and energetic. Music industry observers noted that the excitement surrounding the release highlights the group’s lasting influence across generations of listeners.

At the promotional event hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien, Mick Jagger spoke about the experience of recording new music at the age of 82. He said the band still enjoys making music together and continues to approach each album with strong focus and dedication. Jagger also joked about his vocal health after Conan praised the power and quality of his singing voice during the discussion.

One of the biggest surprises surrounding “Foreign Tongues” is the inclusion of special appearances by Paul McCartney and Robert Smith. McCartney, famously known as a member of The Beatles, and Robert Smith, the lead singer of The Cure, are expected to contribute to selected tracks on the album. Fans described the collaboration as a historic meeting of some of Britain’s most influential rock musicians.

Despite the excitement surrounding the new album, the band did not announce any upcoming world tour during the event. Several reports suggested that touring had been discussed internally but was eventually rejected because of concerns related to age and health risks for the members. Many fans had hoped the new release would be followed by another international concert series.

Speculation about the album had already started last month after the band quietly released a limited edition vinyl single under the alternate name “The Cockroaches.” The track, titled “Rough And Twisted,” was sold only at selected record stores in the United Kingdom. Fans quickly noticed that the selling price of £10.07 appeared to hint at a July 10 release date for a future project.

The Rolling Stones remain one of the most successful and influential rock bands in music history. Even after more than six decades in the music industry, the group continues to attract worldwide attention through new releases and public appearances. The announcement of “Foreign Tongues” has once again demonstrated the band’s enduring popularity and its ability to keep legendary rock music alive for both older and younger audiences.
