The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has once again launched its yearly campaign, "No Hajj Without a Permit," to make sure the Hajj is safe, well-organized, and peaceful for everyone. This campaign reminds all pilgrims—both from inside and outside the country—that they must follow the rules to take part in Hajj.
The main goal is to stop problems like people joining the Hajj without permission, traffic jams, and fake travel plans that can be dangerous. This year, during the 1446 AH Hajj, the Saudi government took strong steps to stop rule-breakers. They ran awareness programs, used high-tech cameras, added more checkpoints at the entrances to Makkah, and punished those who broke the rules.
These efforts really helped. On the important Day of Arafah, all pilgrims arrived at their camps on time. The roads were clear, and the area around Arafat and the Namirah Mosque was calm and peaceful. People could pray and perform their rituals in a safe and relaxed place.
All approved pilgrims were given proper places to stay, food, medical care, and transport. Smart apps and websites help people understand where to go and what to do. Government groups worked together to move pilgrims smoothly between the holy sites using buses and the Mashair Train.
Special tools like the Nusuk Card and live monitoring systems helped keep everything organized and safe. The Makkah Route Initiative, run by the Ministry of Interior for the 7th year, also made travel easier for international pilgrims by speeding up airport immigration in 11 countries.
This successful Hajj is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve services for all pilgrims. By using smart technology, clear rules, and putting people first, Saudi Arabia wants every pilgrim—called a "Guest of Allah"—to complete their journey safely and with respect.
