Abu Dhabi witnessed a key meeting between His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of 2PointZero, and Masahiro Kihara, Group CEO of Japan’s Mizuho Financial Group, marking a significant step in strengthening economic cooperation between the UAE and Japan.
Held in the presence of senior executives from Mizuho, the meeting focused on exploring strategic collaboration in investment, financial services, and advanced technology. Both sides exchanged insights on the rapid development of the global fintech sector and its role in shaping innovation-driven and sustainable economic growth.
The discussion also emphasized the importance of building stronger connections between financial institutions in the UAE and global markets, aligning with the UAE’s vision of developing a diversified, knowledge-based economy.
The meeting highlighted the growing synergy between the UAE’s forward-looking investment landscape and Japan’s financial expertise, paving the way for future collaborations that support innovation and international economic partnerships.
