Smriti Mandhana was instrumental in India’s landmark victory at the 2025 Women’s World Cup, finishing as India’s highest run-scorer and the second-leading batter overall. Her steady contributions at the top of the order underpinned India’s win over South Africa in the final, securing the nation’s first-ever ODI World Cup crown. The team’s success was accompanied by substantial financial rewards, including a tournament prize of INR 40 crore and a BCCI-distributed bonus pool of Rs 51 crore for players.
Mandhana’s income streams are diverse. Match fees are set at Rs 15 lakh for Tests, Rs 6 lakh for ODIs and Rs 3 lakh for T20Is. She holds a Grade A central contract with the BCCI worth an annual retainer of Rs 50 lakh. In the Women’s Premier League auction she was acquired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for INR 3.4 crore, placing her among the top earners in women’s cricket globally.
Her commercial portfolio includes endorsements with Hyundai, Hero Motocorp, Red Bull, Nike, Garnier, Mastercard and UNICEF India, with reported fees ranging from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1.5 crore per deal. Off the field, Mandhana lives in Sangli, Maharashtra, owns residences in Mumbai and Delhi and operates the SM-18 Sports Cafe in her hometown.
A car enthusiast who prefers practicality over ostentation, she drives a Range Rover Evoque valued at about Rs 70 lakh and has gifted vehicles to family members. After the World Cup triumph, estimates place her net worth around INR 34 crore, underscoring her position as one of the game’s most prominent and influential female athletes.
