The Parent’s Guide to The Honor List: How to Nominate Your Child for Asia’s Most Meaningful Recognition

The Parent’s Guide to The Honor List: How to Nominate Your Child for Asia’s Most Meaningful Recognition

Post by : The Honor List

Understand eligibility, documents required, consent process, and why this platform stands apart.

As a parent, you know your child is exceptional — whether they shine in academics, the arts, sports, leadership, or innovation. But in a world full of contests and rankings, truly meaningful and lasting recognition is rare.

That’s where The Honor List by Newsible Asia comes in.

This guide is created especially for parents to help you understand what The Honor List is, how your child can become a part of it, and what steps you need to take to complete a successful nomination.

What Is The Honor List?

The Honor List is a lifetime recognition platform for children of Asian origin under the age of 18.
Unlike competitions that come and go, this initiative offers lasting visibility through a published article, a certificate of honor, and media amplification across Asia and beyond.

It is run by Newsible Asia — one of the region’s fastest-growing digital news networks — in collaboration with global media partners in the UAE, Canada, and the Middle East.

Who Can Be Nominated?

To qualify for The Honor List, your child must meet the following criteria:

1. Age

The child must be under 18 years old at the time of nomination.

2. Region and Background

Either:

  • Resides in any Asian country,
    or

  • Is of Asian origin but living anywhere in the world (Asian diaspora).

3. Field of Talent or Impact

The Honor List accepts nominations from a wide range of fields, including:

  • Academics (Olympiads, high grades, innovation)

  • Creative arts (painting, music, dance)

  • Technology (coding, robotics, digital creation)

  • Social impact (volunteering, awareness campaigns)

  • Public speaking, debates, and leadership

  • Sports and athletics

  • Children with special needs showing resilience or excellence

  • Any unique journey or breakthrough achievement

Why Parental Consent Is Required

Since this platform features children under the age of 18 in publicly accessible media, legal and ethical responsibility lies with the parent or guardian.

Consent is mandatory for:

  • Publishing the child’s photo, name, and achievements

  • Submitting documents

  • Confirming relationship and identity

Only after this consent is received and verified will the nomination process move forward.

Documents You Will Need to Submit

To maintain high editorial standards and credibility, the following documents are required:

Document

Purpose

Parent/Guardian ID

To verify the consenting adult’s identity

Child’s ID

To confirm name, age, and nationality

Relationship proof

May be part of ID or birth certificate showing connection

Achievement proofs

Certificates, media links, videos, photos, letters

Consent declaration (digital)

Signed or emailed approval to publish

These documents can be submitted by email after your nomination is accepted.

Membership and Recognition Details

To be inducted into The Honor List, a one-time lifetime membership fee of RM 349 is required. This fee helps support editorial creation, digital publishing, verification, and media promotion.

What your child receives:

  • A Lifetime Certificate of Honor (digital format)

  • A published article written by Newsible Asia’s editorial team

  • Cross-Publishing across partner media networks

  • A place in a global digital archive honoring excellence

  • Eligibility to be featured again if new achievements arise

Why Parents Choose The Honor List

Unlike awards that are won and forgotten, The Honor List creates a permanent, media-recognized record of your child’s talent and efforts. It is:

  • Verified

  • Searchable on Google

  • Endorsed by international media

  • A credible addition to any student’s portfolio or application

Whether your child applies to future scholarships, international programs, or leadership forums, this recognition can serve as a valuable digital asset that stays with them for life.

Parent’s Checklist

Here’s a quick recap of what you’ll need to do:

  1. Ensure your child is under 18 and of Asian origin or living in Asia.

  2. Prepare the required documents (IDs, proof of achievement).

  3. Email your nomination or expression of interest to: connect@newsibleasia.com

  4. Submit the required documents and complete the one-time membership.

  5. Review and approve the final article before it is published.

As a parent, your support plays the biggest role in shaping your child’s future. The Honor List isn’t just a moment of praise — it’s a way to create a lasting legacy that celebrates your child’s story, talent, and impact.

Recognition like this can change how the world sees your child — and how your child sees themselves.
