The UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation has enhanced its support for athletes and fans by launching two round-the-clock hotlines during the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City. This introduction marks a historic first for the championship, underscoring the Federation’s commitment to ensuring participant comfort and effective communication for all attending.
His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, remarked that these hotlines will remain active throughout the championship duration. They are intended to assist both local spectators and international competitors who have gathered from around the globe for this prestigious event.
Al Dhaheri expressed the Federation's goal to ensure a supportive environment for all attendees, facilitating quick resolutions to any questions or issues that arise. The hotline service provides information on event timings, logistics, venue accessibility, accommodation arrangements, and other relevant needs of athletes and spectators. This initiative aims to enhance the overall experience for participants and reinforces the Federation's reputation for excellence in organization and hospitality.
The Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship is recognized as one of the leading martial arts events globally. This year's edition features more than 10,000 competitors from over 130 countries, positioning it as the largest and most diverse tournament in its history. The impressive turnout highlights the international enthusiasm for Jiu-Jitsu and Abu Dhabi’s role as a pivotal hub for the sport.
The Federation's decision to implement these 24-hour hotlines demonstrates its focus on ensuring smooth event proceedings. The volunteers are well-trained to address diverse situations and are supported by the new hotline system, enabling immediate communication with the event management team if assistance is necessary. This blend of personal engagement and digital support aims to deliver top-tier service throughout the championship.
