Post by : Badri Ariffin

The “Run for the Nation” attracted over 25,000 participants in the UAE, reflecting a deep sense of community spirit, inclusivity, and social responsibility.

The event kicked off with an impressive aerial display by the Fursan Al Emarat, showcasing the colors of the UAE flag—a striking symbol of national pride that energized participants.

Initiated at Wahat Al Karama, a significant national site, the race concluded at Erth Abu Dhabi. The pathway conveyed a crucial message about the collective duty to safeguard the nation, emphasizing awareness and unity.

Individuals from diverse backgrounds, including seniors, People of Determination, families, and professional athletes, were seen participating, underscoring the inclusive ethos of UAE society and its commitment to national efforts.

Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi commended the event as a testament to community awareness and the bond people share with their homeland. He highlighted the initiative's role in fostering a culture of readiness, unity, and active community engagement.

Following the race, families convened at a community village located at Erth Abu Dhabi, featuring entertainment and activities aimed at promoting social interaction in a welcoming setting.

This event was organized by the Zayed Charity Run Higher Organizing Committee in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, supported by several sponsors such as International Golden Group, Aldar, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, among others.

The success of the Run for the Nation reflects its significance as a prominent national campaign, fostering communal ties, advocating for healthy lifestyles, and contributing to Abu Dhabi’s vision of a cohesive and active society.
