The Ministry of Education and Training shared updates about the high school graduation exams held on the morning of June 27, 2025.
Across Vietnam, 1,155,577 students registered to take this important exam. Out of these, 1,147,269 students actually attended, which means 99.28% of students came to the exam rooms.
For the 2018 General Education Program, there were 1,134,023 students registered, and 1,129,564 students took the exam, reaching a very high rate of 99.61%.
However, in the 2006 General Education Program, 21,554 students registered, but only 17,705 students came, making the attendance rate 82.14%, which is lower compared to the newer program.
Regarding discipline, the ministry said that 5 students were suspended on the morning of June 27 for breaking exam rules. This number is half of last year’s when 11 students were suspended. There were no students who received a warning or reprimand this time.
In the afternoon, students from the 2006 program will sit for their final exam, which is Foreign Language. This will mark the end of the 2025 high school graduation exams for students across the country.
