Xiaomi’s sub-brand has announced that the Redmi Note 15 series is on its way, with the base model launching first in India. The official launch is scheduled for January 6, 2026, with the Pro and Pro Plus models expected to follow shortly after. Some key features have already been teased by the company, emphasizing its impressive camera capabilities.
Post-launch, the Redmi Note 15 will be available for purchase via Amazon, the dedicated Redmi online store, and various offline retail outlets throughout the country. Xiaomi is anticipated to share further details as the launch date approaches.
Reports suggest that the smartphone will boast a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with a commendable 120Hz refresh rate. This screen is expected to deliver superior brightness levels and will be protected by Gorilla Glass, promising a seamless and vibrant viewing experience.
Performance-wise, the Redmi Note 15 is projected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, with options for up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device is also likely to be equipped with a robust 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, and may carry an IP66 rating for resistance against dust and water.
On the photography front, the device is anticipated to feature a 108MP camera with optical image stabilization on the rear, complemented by a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Industry insiders speculate that the starting price for the Redmi Note 15 in India will be around Rs 22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, while the enhanced 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant may retail for approximately Rs 24,999. These prices remain unofficial and are subject to change at launch.
